I received an e-version of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest review.I was very excited for this novel cause 1) Thomas is a medical student (so am I), 2) the novel’s title is Teeth (and I’m dental student), 3) who does’t love a good vampire story?
So I went to this book expecting all of this (though author did say there would be much more vampires and less medical-things). At first I thought I was too creepy (I would be scared in this situation). Imagine you wake up not in you room, blood is everywhere and next to you is a woman who is soon to die. Creepy, yes.
And from that we are learning smth about vampires. For me they were not typical at all and I’ve never thought what is the origin of some of theirs powers and disadvantages (f.e. why they can’t stand sunlight). So the concept and all the explanations for me where A+.
Overall, there were moments when I was asking myself should I continue reading and moment when I just cannot put the book down. Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed reading this book and very thankful for approving my request.

The first third of a book was a big surprise for me (in all the ways). In was a bit creepy, a bit fun, a bit boring (it definitely wasn’t love at first sight between me and August) and what shocked me the most – I did not expect the LGBT-thing at all. I’m totally okay with it, I just did not expect.
Then the part with Spence and Tom. It was fun, it was sexy and it was very interesting cause we learn even more about vampires. The one thing that did not satisfied me was lack of explain how Tom coped with his medical internship.
I do not understand William. He was cruel, unfriendly, creepy and then he becomes good, helps Aug and etc. How?
Paige was so much fun. In café and when Aug came to “kill” her Loved her. But I think her relationship with Tom was not well developed at all (hope it was left for next installment in a series).
Charles… Can anyone explain me how did he rule the whole vampire society? He was old, didn’t leave his room and barely seen anyone. Just how? Maybe this was the reason why I was not impressed when he died.
And the ending… In my opinion Spence, who was so mature and strong in scenes with Tom, now was acting like 16-year-old girl, running away and not wanting to talk to Aug and solve the whole problem peacefully. Anyway, together, Spence and Aug were cute and lovely. But werewolves… Really? There are werewolves? Why it was such a secret? Hope we get some answers in the next book.
I’ve not read much books in English, maybe this fact affected in some way my whole reading experience.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I’m excited to read the next one Извиняюсь, что отзыв на английском, но все же он писался для Goodreads.
